Our House Espresso Blend
Deep, rich caramel sweetness opens the cup, balanced by bright citrus notes that lift the midpalate. An elegant dried-cherry finish rounds out the experience, adding a subtle fruit character and gentle acidity. Crafted and balanced for espresso extraction, this blend produces a syrupy body, thick crema, and concentrated flavor clarity under pressure.
Brew notes:
Espresso: Optimal — expect bold caramel, pronounced sweetness, lively citrus highlights, and a refined dried-cherry finish.
Drip/Pour-over/French press: Surprisingly excellent — dial slightly coarser grind and a touch more brew time for fuller body; the citrus and cherry notes become more pronounced and refreshing.
Tasting profile:
Flavor: Caramel, citrus, dried cherry
Body: Medium to full
Acidity: Bright, balanced
Finish: Elegant, lingering fruit
Pairing suggestions:
Milk-based drinks: Caramel and cherry hold up well in lattes and cappuccinos.
Pastries: Pairs beautifully with almond croissants, dark chocolate, or berry tarts.
Roast level: Medium-dark — developed sugars for caramel notes while preserving acidity and fruit complexity.
Preparation tips:
Espresso: 18–20 grams dose, 25–30 seconds extraction for 2x yield (adjust to taste).
Brewing: Use slightly cooler water (195–200°F) for drip methods to highlight delicate citrus and cherry nuances.
Enjoy it straight from the espresso machine or explore it in your favorite brewing method — it's built for espresso but delicious anywhere.
