Brewed with Love in your Hometown
Our Story
On a random Thursday in May 2025, Hometown Brew began in the simplest way possible—parked outside our house, set up in the driveway, serving one drink we believed in: our specialty horchata latte. We didn’t know what to expect. We just hoped a few people might stop by. But they did. Neighbors, friends, and strangers showed up, cups in hand, curious and kind. That day showed us that coffee could be more than a drink—it could be a connection.
Just three weeks later, we found ourselves at our very first farmers market. What started as a small idea was suddenly real. With every cup we served, we fell more in love with the rhythm of it all—the early mornings, the conversations, the smiles, and the feeling of being part of something bigger than ourselves.
By August 2025, we took a leap of faith and bought our own trailer. We built it with our own hands, turning a blank space into a home for Hometown Brew. From that trailer, we served countless coffees, met incredible people, and grew alongside the community that supported us from day one.
Now, that same journey has led us to our next chapter: building our coffee shop in downtown Libertyville. What began in a parking lot with a single horchata latte has grown into a dream rooted in love, hard work, and community. Hometown Brew has always been about more than coffee—it’s about serving people, one cup at a time, and we’re just getting started. ☕🤍
